I was asked this question during an interview this summer “What was my favorite operating system?”
Windows: Well, not my favorite, but I use it like almost everyone and everything for administration functions at work on government agencies. I mentioned I used it to host my Virtual Machine (VM) – VMWare. That leades me to….
Linux: I namely use two flavors of Linux. One is Ubuntu, for Windows type stuff. I’m into cybersecurity, and an Ethical Hacker…. so I also use Kali-Linux. I also have used time to time CentOS, but that’s really for familiariztion.
MacOS: I use my make all the time.It’s replaced my Windows machine except for what’s noted above. I also run Parrells VM, to run Windows 11, and a Linux box. I also run a MacOS VM guest to test updates and some software.
So, Mac is my favorite, but I use them all. And I can run all three on my Macbook M3
